About Emma

Vocal Tutor

Emma is a stage performer, qualified singing teacher and accomplished nutritionist from Whitley Bay. Having studied with the Institute for Vocal Advancement and Musical Theatre Studio, Emma has performed professionally for many years and is still active in the industry, including performing for the National Theatre in London.

Emma started her singing journey over 10 years ago when she began singing lessons herself to improve her performances in local, amateur theatre. Not long after, she joined the Institute for Vocal Advancement and became an IVA Level 1 Singing Instructor and started working professionally on stage.

With a thirst for knowledge, curiosity and wanting to constantly improve herself and help her students, Emma continues her own training by attending CPD events and working with other teachers to ensure she is up to date with the latest training.

Emma is currently studying the Estill model which combines scientific theory and teaching isolated control of individual anatomical structures within the voice. With over 10 years of teaching and her recent training, Emma believes she can help anyone maximise their vocal potential and maintain vocal health wherever you are on your singing journey.
