Welcome to my website!
I'm Emma and I'm a qualified Nutritional Therapist, singing teacher and performer.
I live in Whitley Bay just outside of Newcastle upon Tyne.
I love food, aerial hoop, walks on the beach, dungarees and my dog, Daisy.
I've performed professionally for the past 5 years locally and across the UK as an actor, singer and aerialist.
You can find out more about my performance career and teaching here.
But none of that could have happened without the help of good nutrition!

Hi,

My journey with nutrition started before I even knew it!
For all of my teenage life and twenties I suffered with
horrendous acne,
constant bloating,
extreme fatigue
and
uncontrollable mood swings.
I just had to put up with all those symptoms including low self-esteem.
My fatigue was so bad that there were times that I was driving and I had to pull over to nap,
I had to go home during my friend's wedding to have a nap to then come back after a few hours - how was I going to make it through my own wedding if I was to ever get married?
I was so tired, how was I ever going to make it through one show? Never mind a matinee and evening performance!
After years of talking to GPs who just could not find anything wrong with me, I suddenly had a brainwave!
What if it was food that was making me feel so poorly?
I went back to the doctors and got all the tests for food intolerances done!
I was excited,
I FINALLY cracked it.
...
ALL NEGATIVE!
WHAT?!!
I completely broke down in tears and that was the moment that I decided I needed to help myself as I knew something was wrong, but what was it? And where to start?
I was positive that food had to be the answer!

I would panic about shows I was in - would I get ill during the run?
Would I lose my voice?
What happens if I am so exhausted that I don't have the energy to do what people have paid to see me do?!
I had always suffered with a bad tummy from being young, I remember being backwards and forwards to the doctors and always coming away with something new to try that just didn't really do anything.
This was annoying, not only because I was uncomfortable but it really affected what I wore which affected my confidence on stage and in every day life.

Even though I had all this going on, what I cared most about was my skin.
It was so bad that I literally have no photographic evidence.
I was led to believe that this was all normal. I was told I would either
"grow out of it"
or that
"it just happens to some people".
...
But why did this happen to "some people"? And why was it happening to me?
Fast forward to my late 20's and I had tried everything!
Medication, beauty products, make-up, diets, even qualifying as a beauty therapist and make-up artist to learn about how to look after my skin and how to hide it! You name it, I tried it!
I must have spent thousands!
And yet, nothing seemed to work.
I started studying Biochemistry and Nutritional Therapy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2019 and during my 3 years of intensive study, it completely changed my life!
I learned so much about how the food that is so easily available to us works on the body and how that can impact our health. After changing the way I was eating I started to notice;
-
I wasn't as tired anymore!
-
My acne reduced significantly!
-
I wasn't uncomfortably bloated!
-
I was able to perform confidently knowing that I had energy and stamina!
...and I felt so much happier!
I could live my life.
I even started to notice little things that never really bothered me also improved such as sensitive teeth, my hair was growing longer and thicker and my body changed shape!

I felt so good that I wanted to help other people.
I want to help other people feel better.
I want to help other performers be able to perform.
And I am excited to help
you!
So, if you're ready to feel your best naturally,
book in a chat with me today to discuss how I can help you!
